In San Diego, Optimizely's elite gather to chart the future of digital experience. From exclusive insights at the OMVP Summit with global MVPs in attendance, to the whirlwind of innovations at #OPTICON, it's an illuminating journey.
📅 MONDAY - OMVP SUMMIT Here, Optimizely's most valued professionals (44 out of 80 global MVPs are present this year) gather to get a sneak peek into the latest news surrounding Optimizely. We have the opportunity to ask open questions directly to the leadership team, with the CEO, CPO, and CTO in attendance. We also have the chance to give feedback – and in this group, we are not afraid to be honest and critical. On the agenda are topics such as AI, OptiGraph, partner philosophy, SaaS, Headless, and general updates. Our special guest is Jon Galloway from Microsoft, known from Microsoft's YouTube channel, who will present updates from Microsoft – the platform on which Optimizely DXP is based. As MVPs, we are bound by confidentiality, so certain parts of the information we receive are confidential.
📅 TUESDAY - PARTNER FORUM Today's agenda includes updates, product innovations, partner award ceremonies, networking, and breakout sessions.
📅 WEDNESDAY-THURSDAY - #OPTICON Over these two days, customers, partners, and Optimizely come together for networking, updates, and inspiration about Optimizely's products. The conference features keynotes and breakout sessions, catering to both new and existing customers. What does Optimizely do? According to me and many others, they have the world's best experimentation platform, content management system, and e-commerce platform. Additionally, they offer an impressive content marketing platform, as well as a recommendation and data platform.

AI that understands your content, your CMS and your workflow
Hello, and welcome. In this short video, I will show you how the Epicweb AI Assistant can help your editors work smarter directly inside the Optimizely CMS. We will start with a very common scenario, SEO. Here, I am on a page in Optimizely, and as an editor, I can easily select the SEO fields I want to work with. For example, the SEO title and SEO description. With the help of the AI assistant, I can generate relevant search optimized suggestions based on the actual content of the page. This means that the editor does not have to start from scratch, copy text into external AI tools, or guess what works best for the specific page. The AI assistant understands the context of the CMS. It knows which page we are working on, which fields are available, what type of content it is, and how the content is structured. Once the suggestion has been created, the editor can review it, adjust it, and then update the fields directly inside Optimizely. Now we'll move on to the next part, the AI chat. Here, I open the AI chat directly inside Optimizely's editing interface. This is not just a general AI chat sitting on the page. It is integrated into the CMS and works with the context of the current page. One important strength is that you can have specialized assistance for different workflows. For example, an SEO assistant, a translation assistant, an accessibility assistant, or an assistant adapted to a specific page type or to the organization's tone of voice. In this example, we are using an SEO assistant that is specially adapted to analyze and compare SEO across different language versions. The assistant can look at the content, compare, for example, Swedish and English versions, and analyze the SEO title, meta description, headings, key messages, and structure. It can then provide with concrete recommendations and what should be improved. This is very valuable for organizations that work with multiple languages and markets. Often, one language version is well optimized while other versions are missing important keywords, have weaker metadata, or do not maintain the level of quality. With the AI assistant, it becomes much easier to identify those differences and fix them directly in the workflow. And most importantly, the editor remains in control. The AI helps with the analysis, suggestions, and updates, but the editor can always review and approve before it gets used. There are many benefits to this plugin. It is fully integrated in the Optimizely CMS, and it works directly in the editor's workflow. It saves time by automating recurring tasks such as SEO, metadata, translation, summaries, and content improvement. It improves quality by helping editors create more consistent, structured, and search optimized content. It supports multilingual work, making it easier for the organization to maintain consistent quality across different markets. It can be adapted to the organization's own rules, tone of voice, page types, and workflows. And because it is built with native Optimizely development, it can be extended with custom tools, business logic, and specialized assistance. So it is not just an AI chat. It is a new way of working with Optimizely, from manual and time consuming content to a more intelligent, assisted, and quality assured editorial workflow. Thank you for listening.
